About this game
WARURU is a demolition game. You choose a building, from a small brick house to a fifteen-storey office, and bring it down with the tools in the bar at the bottom of the screen: explosives you place and then detonate, launched weapons such as rockets, a wrecking ball or a meteor, and controlled methods such as cutting charges and thermite. A meter at the top shows how much of the building is down.
Each building is made of pieces joined together, and the joins break under load, so walls crack, floors give way and sections tip over as a whole. There are ten missions with up to three stars each, for example bringing down most of a house with as few charges as possible, and a Free Play mode with no timer in which you can restore the building, switch to another one or draw your own floor plan and knock it down.
It is played with the mouse: click the building to place a charge or choose a target, then press Detonate or the Space bar. The game is by EchoPlayroom, whose own website lists it among its other browser games. On its itch.io page the developer states that AI was used for code and text. Only the desktop browser was checked; the developer also describes the game as playable on phones.
