About

Chronicle is a daily history game. Each day brings five moments from history, the same for every player. For each one you read a short description, then say where it happened by dropping a pin on a globe, and when by setting the year.

You have a minute per moment. The map shows no place names until you lock in your answer; you can switch them on, at the cost of half the points for the place in that round. The place and the year are each worth up to 100 points, so a perfect day scores 1,000. After you lock in, the game shows the real place and date with a short note about the event.

The game's own page says there are no accounts, adverts or cookies, and that scores and streaks stay on your device. You can share a result so that a friend plays the same five moments. On a desktop you play with the mouse; on a phone, by touch.
