Factory Go

About this game

Two players take turns placing factories on the points of a board, much as stones are placed in Go. Each factory has vents on its sides; when all of them are blocked, the factory explodes. Factories that join up and secure two chimneys grow into a large factory that cannot explode. You choose between attacking your opponent's factories and protecting your own, and whoever has built more factories at the end wins. The second player gets a 7.5-point handicap.

You play with the mouse against the computer at one of four strengths, against a second person on the same device, or online, either against a random opponent or with a shared password. You can choose the board size, and finished games can be replayed move by move. The rules and the differences from Go are explained in the game.

It is made by ひらじ (hirazisora), and the game can be switched between Japanese and English. HeapPlay checked games against the computer only.
