About this game

Latchline is a one-button swing game set among glowing street lamps. You hold to latch onto a lamp and swing round it, then let go to fly towards the next one. If you miss and fall to the ground, the run is over. Good timing earns "perfect" releases, which build a score multiplier, and a ghost of your best run flies alongside so you can race yourself.

The course changes every day and is the same for everyone, so each day gives one fresh set of lamps to learn. Three daily challenges, such as chaining five perfect releases or reaching the next zone, earn sparks, and sparks buy costumes and trails for your little character. The game is controlled with a single key or touch: hold Space on a computer, or touch and hold the screen on a phone. It asks once whether you want to share anonymous play stats, and "No thanks" is enough to start playing.

This is an early version by ianthedev, who asks for feedback in the comments. The game's page also mentions a free iPhone beta on TestFlight and an Android version coming soon; only the browser version is listed here. The itch.io page tags the game as made with AI assistance for its code and graphics.
