About this game

Join Max and Tess, a curious boy and his little turquoise gecko, on a history adventure around Naples. Choose Herculaneum, Capri, Pompeii, Amalfi and Salerno, Sorrento or the Naples National Archaeological Museum in any order. All six chapters and their missions are available from the start.

Each place has two main missions and one extra mission. Observe a real object with an adult or explore its travel card, solve a puzzle and add a discovery to your album. Twelve main missions earn six keys in fixed positions, spelling the Russian word for volcano. Collect all six keys to reach the finale, choose three favourite discoveries and receive your explorer's diploma.

Missions award explorer coins once, and hints and mistakes never reduce the reward. Spend the coins on scarves, hats and album decorations. Progress, hints, purchases and visits are saved in this browser; saves can be exported and restored. Prepare the standalone game while online to play it without a connection later. No account, adverts, real-money purchases, camera or location access are required. The game and its puzzles are in Russian.
