About this game
Wordminos is a word puzzle in which the letters come printed on coloured pieces of two to four squares, a little like dominoes. Each puzzle gives you an empty grid with a few coloured markers and a handful of pieces. You place every piece on a marker of its own colour so that the letters read as words across and down, as in a crossword.
Drag a piece to move it and tap or click it to turn it. Each puzzle has a theme that hints at the words, and a short tutorial explains the rules. There is a Daily Mini, a Daily Puzzle and a set of puzzle packs. A timer runs while you solve, and finished puzzles add letter characters to a collection of 26.
The game is made by one person, Danny Yaroslavski, who says it was built in twelve days with the code written entirely by AI agents. The site also offers French, Spanish and Russian versions; HeapPlay played the English one.
