    Started and played for about two minutes in headless Chrome on macOS at 1280 x 720 with the mouse: made matches, created a rocket power-up and used it. The keyboard was used only to start the level.

Royal Gems is a match-3 puzzle made in PICO-8. You swap neighbouring gems to line up three or more of a kind, and each level asks you to collect set numbers of particular gems before your moves run out.

Bigger matches leave power-ups on the board. The game's page lists them: four in a line makes a rocket that clears a row or column, a 2 x 2 square makes a propeller, an L or T shape makes TNT, and five in a line makes a light orb that removes every gem of one colour. Two power-ups can be combined.

With a mouse you drag a gem to swap it and click a power-up to use it. On the keyboard, the arrow keys move the cursor and Z or X picks up a gem. The developer says the game was inspired by Royal Match.
