About this game

ROTETRA is a falling-block puzzle in which the board itself turns. You begin with one well and one piece. Soon a second well opens at a right angle to the first, with its own piece arriving from the side, and you rotate the whole grid to choose which piece you are steering. The developer says the standard mode grows from one piece to four.

Pieces are moved with the arrow keys, rotated with Z or Up, dropped with Space and held with C; A and D rotate the grid. The keys can be rebound, and the page also lists gamepad controls. The game shows your score, time, level and lines, and has leaderboards.

This is the browser demo: in it the standard mode is open and the other modes are locked. The game is by Michael Kamm, with sound design by Maddie Socha and music by Ross Mayfield and Maddie Socha. The developer's page also links to a desktop demo on Steam.
